2012 – At Sea enroute to Suva, Fiji
Sunrise at 6:57 am – I walked about 6:30 for half hour then
Yoga stretches in the room.
Unfortunately Yoga and other classes are held in an area of the fitness
center where people are constantly passing through – it is at best
annoying. I am noting in my mid-cruise
comments that a separate area for all classes is critical if Oceania is to
expect guest participation – particularly for classes that cost money.
Patte and I are at our Beginner’s Bridge class at 10:00 am –
we are enjoying this and hope to continue when we get home. We love our instructor, Jean-Paul – he is
knowledgeable and a good teacher.
At noon Patte, Beth, Lynn and I lunch in the Grand Dining
Room – leaving Phil and Dave to fend for themselves. It is nice to be waited on in the middle of
the day – especially with a glass of champagne.
This afternoon I work on the blog --- writing and labeling
photos so I remember where we have been.
Trivia is at 5:30 today – we come in 2nd – we are
closing in on The Frigates (the team that wins all the time – we are right
behind them).
Dinner on the back deck of the ship in the Terrace Café –
the view, the food and the ambiance
couldn’t have been better.
After dinner – we decide to go to Brain Teasers and come in
2nd here as well. A great
way to end a lovely but exhausting day at sea.
Thanks for reading.
Pat
