Saturday – 17 March 2012 – Happy St. Patrick’s Day – At Sea
Sunrise at 5:29 am – still very hot. I walked at 6:30 am – and am glad I didn’t
wait any longer. After breakfast –
attended part of a lecture on Cairns, Australia – before meeting Patte for our
10:00 am Bridge class.
After lunch -- spent the day working on this blog and
organizing the hundreds of photos I've taken.
Trivia was early today -- 3:30 pm – we did not even come in 3rd -- but
we still have Brain Teasers to redeem ourselves.
At 5:30 -- a special show with an Australian singer, Karen
Beckett, is held in the Regatta Lounge.
She is extraordinary -- great voice and personality.
We invited George and Hillary (from our trivia group) to
dine with us in The Grand Dining Room --- which is a vision of green -- nice
dinner and lots of laughs.
Brain Teasers at 8:45 brings us back from the brink -- since
we come in 2nd.
At 9:30 it is time for the Regatta's version of an hour in
an Irish Pub --- basically dancing and balloons in the Regatta Lounge with the
band entertainment staff. It is fun and
Phil dances with all the girls.
We had a very busy day at sea and stayed up until 10:30pm.
Thanks for Reading,
Pat
